Quality Control
At NU-OMICS, quality control during library preparation is a priority. We take care to check for quality using quantification and size determination throughout the library preparation process.
QUBIT
The QUBIT is used to quantify both DNA and RNA at high sensitivity.
2100 Bioanalyzer
The 2100 Bioanalyzer is used to size nucleic acids <1000 bp often in preparation for sequencing on Illumina platforms.
5300 Fragment Analyzer
The 5300 Fragment Analyzer is used to size nucleic acids >1000 bp often in preparation for sequencing on the PacBio Revio or ONT platforms.
Blue Pippin
The Blue Pippin is used for the size selection of high molecular weight DNA.
